who the fuck is the freak behind this?

Hello earthlings and other intergalactic creatures!

The name is Cecilie, I’m 18 and I come from Denmark! This is a country of its own, and not, and I repeat NOT the capital of Sweden or a part of Sweden.

You might be familiar with Denmark because a) We invented Lego, b) we pay the highest taxes in the world or c) we have been voted as the happiest country in the world several times. Alas, not all times are happy ones, but we all know that.

Although born and bred in Denmark, my father happen to come from the United Kingdom, specifically England, so whilst I mostly identify as Danish, I also consider myself slightly English.

(yup, this is the glorious me)

I am soon to be a Danish, History, Social Studies and English major, as I finally leave the hellhole known as Gymnasium (pretty much the same as High School). After graduating, I am planning a sabbatical of work and a trip to Dublin, where I will stay for six, hopefully amazing, weeks.

Anyway, besides adoring anything originating from the British Isles, I am also strongly passionate in advocating LGBT rights, which is something that is quite prominent on this blog. It is also another important factor in taking a sabbatical, as I will be able to involve myself further in rights activism and the likes.

You can also find a more personal me on twitter and my old YouTube account, where you can also find lots of my old videos. I have since “retired” from vidding, but I strongly consider starting again because I miss it so much.

As you must have noticed already, I am a fervent participant in several fandoms; Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Sherlock, The Hunger Games, Merlin, New Girl, Community, Bones, NCIS, True Blood, The X-Files, Jane Austen, Misfits, ER, Downton Abbey and many, many more.

I just really love TV, books and films, okay?

Besides blogging enthusiastically about fandoms and the actors within them, you can also expect a lot of posts concerning politics. I am politically active, and I especially find American politics quite interesting. I consider myself a socialist, whilst not believing in socialism in its purest form. I am also strongly opposed to war, and I do not believe that under any circumstances that it is the right way to deal with a conflict.

Alas, enough of my political convictions. I think it’s time for me to shut up now, and tell you to go check out my amazingly beautiful, gay-loving blog. And with that, I say good-bye!
